ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Tanja Schuster studied biology in Ulm (Germany) where she also wrote her doctoral thesis. The latter comprised an investigation of the function of branched-chain aminotransferases during the amino-acid and/or glucosinolate biosyntheses in Arabidopsis thaliana.

INVOLVEMENT IN THE PROTECTION OF INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

Tanja is admitted as a German Patent Attorney and European Design and Trademark Attorney since 2013.

Before a doctorate was conferred on her, Tanja embarked on a course entitled “Protection of Intellectual Property“ at the Distance-Learning University of Hagen (Germany). She was also involved in issues of the protection of intellectual property at Max Planck Innovation and subsequently joined Dehmel & Bettenhausen. Her main activities include patent granting and patent litigation, utility model applications, issues of employee inventions and trademark law.

Tanja joined Dehmel & Bettenhausen in 2009.
